3rd Party Influence started life when Simon Redfern and Torsten Müller met in New Zealand at the University of Aukland computer music lab circa 2002 and they started messing around with drum machines and synths. Some verrrry lucky parties and venues had the pleazure of their sonic company.
Martin Gordon and Daniel Tippmann joined for several events in Berlin.
Simon and Daniel perform regularly at Berlin Modular Society events.

In the mid 2010's some gigs happened at the infamous Dr Pong in Berlin where 3PI was joined on occasion by Martin Gordon and Daniel Tippmann.

From 2019 to early 2022 3PI was more of a solo project with Simon heading in a Eurorack driven Techno direction. But, who knows what the future might hold. 3rd Party Influence means just that, taking influence from various places, init.
